waihi beach volunteer coastguardAssists and rescues vessels along the coastline from Whangamata in the north to Tauranga in the south, and eastwards past Mayor Island, an area of approximately 2,500 square kilometres.

mayor view volunteer fire brigadeProvides fire and emergency response to the greater Waihi Beach community including Bowentown, Athenree and Tanners Point.

waihi beach lifeguard servicesSurf Life Saving club that provides seasonal patrols along Waihi Beach, as well as education, youth development and providing plenty of ways to get involved and connect with the community.
